Artist Invitation

Dear Prospective Coronado Art Walk Artist,

The Unified Port of San Diego has encouraged the Coronado Art Walk to expand to a two-day show with a grant of funding as well as assistance with advertising.  We will be participating in an exciting weekend on the bay September 18th and 19th with expanded access across the water. Our show will be highlighted on the Unified Port of San Diego and the Big Bay websites. We will, of course, continue our usual advertising campaign designed to bring in visitors from within a two-hour drive and our own website will be updated and expanded.  All participants will also receive a "Save the Date" email to forward to their clientele as well as promotional postcards to mail or hand out personally.  Accepted artists also receive a complimentary Coronado Art Walk T-shirt on the day of the event.ou won’t want to miss being a part of this exciting event!

Attendance at our 2009 Coronado Art Walk was estimated at nearly 6,000 people. With the addition of another day. you will be able to reach even more attendees as they come to the Coronado Ferry Landing  by ferry, car, and the bus which we provide to bring hotel guests and local patrons.f

With our new two=day format we hope to draw even more high quality artists from further afield who would not be willing to do a one-day show.  Ours is a well run, well organized event.  We would be happy to provide you with the names pf participating artists willing to assure you that the Coronado Art Walk is a show which will enhance your sales for the year.  This freem public event features our artists vendors, performing arts and interactive art activities for both children and adults, all designed to foster creativity and appreciation for the wonders of art.  You won't want to miss being part of this exciting event!

The Coronado Ferry Landing is truly a spectacular location for this popular event. We hope you will join us by filling out the application. {lease be sure to review the Coronado Art Walk Guidelines for important information, and don't forget to make a copy of your application for your records.  All accepted artists will be contacted by July 31st.
